If you are not 100% satisfied with any product you purchase from Better Espresso, you may return it within 30 days from the date of purchase for a full refund of your purchase price, less the original cost of shipment to you!   This is a straightforward, no hassle guarantee.  Simply follow our Return Policy, below.


Return Policy

1.  Authorization Number   To return an item, you must first contact us by phone at (859) 779-0817 or e-mail at info@betterespresso.com to receive a Return Authorization Agreement. Once we have received your request, we will send you additional details regarding the return procedure, such as how to prepare the machine for shipping and packaging instructions.  You should return the Return Authorization Agreement to us if you understand and agree to the terms of the statement.  We will then issue a Return Authorization Number which must appear on the outside of the shipping box. (Please do not write on the retail display box.)  Please note that we will not accept returns without a Return Authorization Number.

 2.  Product Condition   Returned items must be in like new condition, free of water, coffee, dents, nicks and scratches. Returned items must arrive with all original: parts, accessories, manuals, instructions and packing materials. Returned items must be re-packaged in the original retail display box. If any of these items are missing or if the merchandise is returned in a condition other than described above, you will be charged a 20% re-stocking fee.  Be sure to save all packaging and parts until you have inspected and tested your purchase. Once the merchandise is returned and checks in as being in like new condition, you will receive a full refund of your purchase price, minus the original cost we incurred when shipping the item(s) to you. 

 3.  Shipping Instructions   You must ship returns with a courier that provides tracking.  Please provide Better Espresso with the tracking number when you receive it. You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning merchandise to us. If a returned item is lost or destroyed in transit, your account will not be credited for the return, and you will be responsible for obtaining reimbursement from the courier. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you purchase insurance from the courier. 

4.  Free Promotional Items From time to time, we offer free promotional items with the purchase of an espresso machine.  If you are returning a machine, you may elect to return the free promotional items or retain them.  If you elect to retain the free promotional items, we will deduct our advertised price of the items from your refund.   


Order Cancellation

Need to cancel your order?  No problem! 

When merchandise has not shipped

You may cancel your order, without cost, if the item has not yet shipped. If you decide to cancel your order, please call us at (859) 779-0817 or e-mail us at info@betterespresso.com so that we can cancel shipment. We will credit your credit card immediately when a cancelled item has not yet shipped.

When merchandise has shipped

If the item has shipped, you will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning the merchandise. Your credit card will not be credited until we receive the unopened, returned merchandise.  You will then receive a full refund, minus the original shiping costs to you.  When returning a cancelled order, you must ship with a courier that provides tracking, and provide us with the tracking number. If the item is lost or destroyed in transit, you will be charged for the item. Therefore, it is recommended that you purchase insurance from the courier so that you can be reimbursed for an item if it is lost or destroyed in transit.


Damaged in Transit

Please inspect your purchase for damage when you first receive it from UPS.  If there is evidence of exterior damage to the shipping carton and the delivery person is present, ask them to note it on their delivery manifest and request a damage claim form.  Should it be necessary for you to submit a damage claim, the notation on the manifest may prove to be very helpful.  If you find that your machine is damaged during shipping, please call UPS at 1-800-742-5877 to report the damage.  You must also contact us within 5 business days.  Make sure you keep all packaging (shipping label, box, packing materials, etc.) as UPS will need to inspect the machine and the packaging materials.  Once we receive a claim number from UPS, we will be more than happy to replace the machine or refund your purchase price, whichever you prefer.

 


Defective Merchandise 

If, in the unlikely event, you receive defective merchandise, please contact us immediately.  We will make swift arrangements for the return and replacement of the products you ordered.  Please follow our Return Policy, above.

Merchandise that becomes or is discovered defective after 30 days from the date of purchase is subject to any applicable warranty.


International Shipping

At this time, we ship to the 48 contiguous United States only.  Orders will not be filled when the request for shipping is to a location outside of the 48 contiguous United States.
