This is the 16 cup chrome la Pavoni Stradivari. This Stradivari features black handles as opposed to rosewood handles and is $60.00 less expensive than the Stradivari with rosewood handles. Like each of the manual espresso machines by la Pavoni, the la Pavoni PSC-16 is a work of art in its own right. The design for the Stradivari was born from a collaboration between la Pavoni and Carlo Gallizi, an industrial designer. The works of the world famous violin maker, Antonio Stradivari, provided the inspiration. The base of the espresso machine is remniscent of the shape of a violin while the gentle sweeping curve of the lever resembles a bow.
