This work of art is the 16 cup la Pavoni Stradivari with solid rosewood handles. The la Pavoni PSW-16 is a manual espresso machine and like each of the manual espresso machines by la Pavoni, the Stradivari is made with quality materials and is capable of producing the best espresso you have ever tasted. The nonpressurized portafilter is made of solid chrome-plated brass and has a solid rosewood handle. The la Pavoni PSW-16 also has a nickel plated, solid brass boiler and the exterior of the machine is triple chrome plated for durability. Unlike the other manual espresso machines by la Pavoni, the Stradivari power switch is built into the logo on the front of the machine. This helps provide a clean, fluid look. In addition to the many features described below, the la Pavoni Stradivari has two important safety systems that prevent damage caused by over heating. 1) The built in, resettable thermostat will shut off the boiler if it reaches unsafe temperatures. 2) There is also a pressure relief valve that automatically opens to relieve excessive pressure inside the boiler.
