The innovation begins in the control panel where the coffee control ring allows you to regulate the quantity of coffee poured into each cup with the simple twist of a dial. Fully Automatic Espresso & Coffee Brewing
Do you like to start your day with an espresso, but don’t like cleaning up the mess? Just press the button and the Odea Giro will automatically grind your coffee beans, and dispense freshly brewed espresso into your cup. After brewing, it cleans up and is ready for the next order in less than 30 seconds. Press the brew button once for a single espresso and twice for a double.

Utilize the enormous flexibility of this machine’s programming options by varying the water volume up to 7 ounces and the coffee dose up to 9 grams. By experimenting with the water volume and grams of ground coffee you can fine-tune your espresso and easily program these parameters into the memory.

Ceramic Coffee Grinder
The ceramic grinder is Saeco's most recent innovation. After careful research, Saeco finally chose this material to put an end to grinding with metal components. A ceramic grinder ensures the best results without altering the flavor of coffee. The ceramic grinder also provides a more even grind and reduces the amount of coffee residue left in the cup. Thanks to its sturdy build, the ceramic coffee-grinder will go on grinding to the same high standard for a long time.

Hot Water Dispenser & Rapid-Steam®Technology
The Saeco Odea Giro features Rapid Steam Technology which virtually eliminates the wait time between brewing and frothing. You'll have ample steam for creating back-to-back milk based drinks.
The Odea Giro milk frothing tip is designed to make frothing easy. The steam wand is located on the right front of the machine and it accommodates frothing pitchers up to 32 oz. If you need instant hot water for making tea, hot cocoa, or Americanos, just press a button.

Special Pre-infusion Brew System Cycle
The pre-infusion feature allows you to get maximum flavor from the brewing process. This advanced system takes the newly ground coffee beans from the internal coffee grinder and correctly tamps the coffee. Next comes pre-infusion. The grounds are pre-soaked and then brewed before being discarded automatically into the internal dump box. The machine then resets itself for the next brewing cycle.

Built-in 50 Ounce Water Tank
The water reservoir can easily be refilled while it is still on the machine. It can also be removed with the easy-grip handle and refilled at the kitchen tap. The reservoir is made of clear ABS plastic so checking the water level is a breeze.

Adjustable Drip Tray

Softer water creates a more robust coffee. With the Aqua Prima water filter, flavor altering substances are reduced and micro-particles and impurities are filtered. Enjoy the improved flavor and full aroma of your coffee. Aqua Prima also reduces the formation of lime scale.

Cleaning & Maintenance of Components
To keep the inside of your machine healthy, it must be cleaned periodically. Scale buildup from naturally occurring minerals in your water can accumulate on sensitive components like the inside of the boiler. Left unchecked, the deposits can cause considerable damage to an espresso machine. By descaling your machine every two-three months, it will last for many trouble-free years. Refer to your instruction manual for detailed information. The machine will alert you when it’s time to activate the self-clean system. After adding descaler, just press the clean button. The machine will take it from there.

Used coffee grounds are collected in the internal dump box, which can hold up to 15 spent portions of coffee before it requires emptying. Wastewater left over from the rinsing cycles is stored in a removable drip tray. When the indicator light illuminates, simply pull out the tray, empty and reinsert in seconds. All components such as the used grounds container, drip tray, and water tank can be hand washed with regular soap and water.
